Following some internal movement we're currently looking to recruit an

Assistant Management Accountant

to join out Financial Reporting team.

The successful candidate will assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts for the consolidated Group and its subsidiaries. This will extend to the year-end process, involving assisting the financial reporting team prepare notes for the statutory

accounts and providing supporting information to the external audit team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts (accruals, prepayments, depreciation of fixed assets, posting relevant journals) • Perform balance sheet reconciliations (bank and control accounts) • Ensure management accounts are completed to deadlines and in accordance with adopted policies and procedures • Provide accurate and relevant commentary on significant balances / transactions in the management accounts • Provide accurate and timely information for cost centre reporting • Complete ad hoc work as required e.g. year-end audit analysis • Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute towards a culture of continuous improvement

Experience :

• Previous experience assisting with the production of management accounts • Comfortable using the double entry system • Studying towards CIMA /ACCA or similar • Good knowledge of Excel is required • Good written and verbal communication skills • Proven team player • Desire to learn and develop skills with the ledger and data warehouse
