Financial Accountant

Our client is a growing PLC who seek to hire a Financial Accountant The role will suit a qualified ACA/ACCA/ CIMA Accountant who will take ownership of a number of entities and manage a small team of reports. The role is a broad mix of financial and management

accounting, responsibilities will include: Lead a small team to provide financial accounting support to assigned companies and business areas Provide leadership, management and development to your team as line manager Work with management to ensure that new products/initiatives are accounted correctly, providing expert financial accounting advice as required Be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts for assigned companies and business areas. Reviewing the output and providing commentary as required Preparing the statutory accounts for assigned companies Ensuing that a robust control environment is maintained, recommending and making improvements as necessary Building and maintaining effective relationships with business areas Managing the relationship with the auditors of assigned companies, delivering information requests/data as required A salary of circa £50,000 plus bonus and benefits
