Greystone Partners are working exclusively with a leading company based in Sheffield. We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA) to join the business for a period of 3 months with a possible extension. Working within the Management Accounts team you will provide an end to end service to deliver weekly, monthly and periodic reporting in an accurate and timely manner, and to ensure that balance sheet controls are robust and fit for purpose. Responsibilities: Ensure reporting is relevant and targeted to business needs Assist in the preparation and posting of weekly journals Assist with the development, publication and review of regular performance measures, weekly reports and monthly management accounts Managing daily, weekly and month-end processes with responsibility to ensure timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of end product Provide ad-hoc MI to provide business insight as and when required Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliation for areas under control, and present these to Head of Management Accounts and Head of FP&A explaining key variances and discrepancies.
