Tax Manager

Tax Manager - Sheffield - £40,000 - £45,000 Client: Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Sheffield based professional services organisation who are looking to identify a high calibre Tax Manager to join their Finance Team, with a clear path of career progression for the right candidate. Duties will include; Preparation and submission of VAT returns across the group Key point of contact for VAT queries and advice Ensure the group is compliant from an indirect tax perspective by overseeing the VAT compliance cycle Provide training and guidance to the wider business as appropriate Prepare the groups corporate tax returns, and manage all aspects of corporate tax compliance and reporting Liaise with external advisors on tax queries and submissions Assist with personal tax returns and Income tax queries Provision of overseas tax forms and certificates Keep abreast of changing tax laws and requirements Work closely with the management accounts and external reporting teams, including but not limited to the year end reporting and audit, and budgeting cycle Person: The Tax Manager role will suit; Qualified candidate (CTA, ATT, ACCA or ACA) Ideal opportunity for a first move from Practice to Industry or to progress from an Industry Tax Manager role Background in professional/financial services To apply for the Tax Manager position please use the link provided, visit the Castlefield website, or contact Josh Watson via LinkedIn.
