Assistant Management Accountant

An outstanding Assistant Management Accountant position has recently become available at an excellent company based in Manchester City Centre. Working in an integral role you will report directly to the Financial Controller, taking ownership of the entirety

of one of the company's business entities. As an Assistant Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts Calculating and posting prepayments and accruals Weekly cashflow reporting Daily bank reconciliations Maintaining the intercompany reconciliation process Providing accurate and timely KPI and variance analysis Preparing review packs for senior level management Co-ordinating and preparing budgets and forecasts Assisting with audit as and when required Constantly assessing and evaluating systems and processed to identify efficiencies As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will have/be: Actively studying for ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) Previous experience assisting in the preparation of management accounts - ideally you will have strong experience of taking accounts to trial balance (as a minimum) Experience using an ERP system (SAP/Oracle) Computer literate with at least an intermediate capability with MS Excel High attention to detail Able to work both independently and part of a wider team Able to develop solid relationships with stakeholders With full study support provided and clear progression plans, this role an excellent way to develop your finance career.
