Assistant Management Accountant

Agora Talent are partnering with a well-established FMCG business to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. Reporting directly into the Finance Director, this is a varied role where you'll assist with sales ledger, management accounts and forecasting. R esponsibilities: Sales ledger ownership including daily invoicing Sales reporting including weekly dashboard and monthly reconciliations Aged debt management including weekly report and customer follow ups Cash receipts and contras posted daily Customer set up and management Cost of selling ownership (e.g. promos) and support to sales team Management account and forecast support for sales, cost of selling, marketing and NPD Balance sheet reconciliations - ADR, accruals and prepayments Assist the finance executive with purchase ledger processing of other department invoices Assist finance director with management accounts and forecasting Assist with year-end audits Requirements: University graduate with 2:1 or above Part qualified accountant with 2+ year work experience An analytical mind with an interest in finance and desire to learn Excellent knowledge of excel Good organisation skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines The energy and self-motivation to work within a rapidly growing business that is constantly evolving and growing with changing priorities An open-minded approach to the role and a flexible, can do, friendly attitude A willingness to work closely with others within a small team Benefits: Full support towards a choice of accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA) The ability to drive change and influence the growth of the business Exposure to a broad range of other departments (NPD, supply chain, technical, sales, marketing) Competitive salary Bonus scheme 25 days holiday Private Health Insurance Company Pension Scheme 50% product discount
