Accountant, in this position you will: Assist with the preparation of monthly results and report to head office Perform month end adjustments and reconciliations Investigate and explain variances Take ownership of bank reconciliations Provide support around Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Support and assist with the budgeting and forecasting process Provide support for reporting to HMRC, VAT returns
To be successful in this role the Assistant Management Accountant will have the following experience: Studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA) Working knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS Experience of using accounting software A track record of monthly reporting Knowledge of corporation tax, VAT and related compliance requirements Highly proficient in Excel and Office Ability to identify opportunities for improvement around systems, processes and controls.
