Assistant Accountant - Projects Based: Preston Salary: £26k - £32k dependent on experience Our client is a fantastic, rapidly expanding business based in Preston. continuously in the pipeline Role: Build strong working relationships across all aspects of the business. Business partnering across the business with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Cost Engineers. Take responsibility for the timely completion of information for the Monthly Management Accounts including; Aid to develop both the budgeting and forecasting processes for projects. Support the project team to ensure projects are run according to group policy and financial standards. Report on project variances against baseline and forecast. Supporting a variety of financial projects designed to improve current processes and systems. Support in areas such as annual, project, and internal audit process. Continuously seek to develop and enhance existing project reporting practices across the Division. Support the wider finance function, to aid in the delivery of accurate financial and management information. Support the bid process with financial reports, compliance and challenge financial data. Experience: Part Qual - CIMA/ACCA Ability to challenge proecsses, suggesting business/financial improvements Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail Supervisory experience beneficial but not essential Good team player and keen to make a change In return you will receive a competitive salary with excellent additional company benefits.
