Assistant Management Accountant Basildon, Essex Up to £23,000
Full Time, Permanent Our client has an opportunity for a meticulous and organised finance professional to join their expanding centralised finance department and provide management accounts support to the Group. Accustomed to working to strict deadlines, you will be responsible
for producing monthly accounts and reports, including: Month-end management accounts
Balance sheet and intercompany balance reconciliations
Solvency calculations (in line with FCA CASS 5 rules)
Variance analysis on income and expenses
Income bridges between actual and budget
In this fast-paced role, you will also ensure that our annual budgets are approved and allocated and prepare annual statutory accounts and assist with the regular audit. You will prepare and submit income flash report and oversee the regular routines for
purchase ledger and cashbook. With good Excel skills, you will part qualified (CIMA / ACCA) with a focussed and deadline-driven approach to work. With experience of working in a fast-paced accounting environment, you will be analytical with great attention to detail, as accuracy is critical
in this role.
