Finance Business Analyst - Dorchester - to £35,000

Bond Williams Accounting and Finance are recruiting a Finance Business Analyst for a well reputed and innovative business based in the Dorchester area. The position sits within a friendly and supportive team, reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with commercial and operational teams throughout the business.

The Financial Planning Analyst will support the Head of Finance in the production of meaningful and relevant analysis / reporting packs on a monthly basis to be presented in a tangible format.

Responsibilities to include:

* Support monthly production of financial KPI's to track progress against budget and forecast * Supporting other business functions in the timely production of financial reporting and analysis for presentation * Assess reporting processes to ensure timely collation of information for analysis * Responsibility for the building and maintenance of key reporting frameworks * Supporting key stakeholders in the provision of relevant financial information for presentations * Analysis and data modelling * Production of sales reports * Providing managers with insights to aid in cost reduction and operational improvements

This role would be well suited to a part qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant or someone of similar level of experience that has a talent and passion for analytics. They will need to be comfortable handling large volumes of data to produce detailed analysis. They will be well known for their organisational skill and attention to detail and confident in juggling multiple priorities. To be successful in this role you will need to be an advanced user of Excel and having previous exposure to Power BI would be an advantage. Competitive salary and on-site parking.
