Assistant Accountant

This is a newly created position to join the growing finance function within a full scope brokerage firm based in Central London right by St Pauls.

My client is an international Brokerage Firm. They are currently growing their London finance team with plans to increase head count further in 2020.

Description

Reporting to the UK Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the following;

• Payments - matching and batching as well as release of funds
• Entry of procurement requests on the ERP ahead of 2020 Budget requirements
• Variance analysis on Budget V Actual
• Processing of employee expenses - high volume and high value
• Accounts Receivable processing for UK brokerage and research fees
• Process and maintain journals
• Ad hoc support to the wider finance function

Profile

TO be successful in this position it is absolutely essential that you have previously worked within the Financial Services sector, please only apply to the role if you have. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal will also key. You must be available to start immediately and if you have previous experience with Navision, this would be very advantageous.
