Finance Manager

My client is is looking for a Finance Manager to join their central Finance and Accounting team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. They are building a finance rapidly and require a Finance Manager on a contract basis which will be reviewed in 6 months. This role is based in South East London.

My client is a Media company/ticketing platform giving music fans the ability to discover and book tickets and travel packages for music festivals worldwide. They require a Finance Manager to join their team for 6 months due to rapid growth.

Description

Finance Manager

Roles and duties:

• Improve financial control environment and play a key role in ensuring that processes are robust
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, credit card expense report reconciliation and revenue recognition
• Responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial processing, month end close, cash management reports, and balance sheet reconciliation
• Proactively performs preventive quality controls and takes corrective actions when necessary
• Support on tax projects including Corporation tax, VAT submissions, US sales tax and R&D claims

Profile

The successful candidate:

• Part Qualified ACA or ACCA

• Good working knowledge of Netsuite

• Previously managed a team

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be paid £38,000 - £40,000 per annum pro rata.
