Description
This role is reporting in to the Financial Controller.
The duties include:
- Managing a team of 5 accounts clerks
- Reviewing weekly payment run and approving for payment
- Approving employee expenses
- Liaising with various managers on day to day issues
- Reviewing and training AP staff on new processes and systems
- Ensuring monthly timescales are being met
- Completing staff appraisal's
- Reviewing Daily cash positions
- Reviewing AP and AR ledgers to ensure up to date
- Ensuring ledgers closed at period end
- Implementing new processes and procedures
Profile
The successful candidate MUST:
- Have experience in a similar role - Essential
- Be confident managing a small team - Essential
- Have used SAP - Desirable
- Be confident using MS Excel - Essential
- Have excellent communication skills - Essential
Job Offer
This role is looking to pay from £32,000 to £40,000 per annum + Parking + Pension
