Mission

  • Preparation and review of Annual and Interim Financial Statements for Funds.
  • Preparation and review of annual tax reporting data due to tax agents.
  • Auditor & Client liaison.

Task Description

  • Preparation and review of Annual and Interim Financial Statements for Funds.
  • Preparation and review of annual tax reporting data due to tax agents.
  • Auditor & Client liaison. Supporting the global operations teams to deliver a quality product through efficient issue resolution, proactive client engagement, and effective deliverable planning (examples).
  • Primary client facing Financial Reporting subject matter expert for service delivery impacting matters.
  • Maintains governance and responsibility for operational process within the Financial Reporting department.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements requiring changes to operational process are met.
  • Participate in operations fast board meetings if required.
  • Own required processing to fully resolve inquiries consistent with client SLA.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Education & Knowledge

  • Degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent. Qualified/part-qualified Accountant.
  • Knowledge of some or all Accounting Standards, (Lux GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP, UK SORP) and tax reporting desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as this role requires interaction at all levels of the organisation and externally, fluent English necessary.
  • Demonstrates initiative in undertaking all processes, which may have an impact on efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Technically competent to act as first point of reference for day-to-day client queries, and serve as a liaison to related areas.

IT Skills

  • Excellent desktop, IT and systems skills.
  • Experience of Sungard InvestOne or Confluence systems advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word essential.

Personal Skills

  • Demonstrates excellent analytical, consultative, communication and judgment skills.
  • Ability to work in a structured pattern, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
