Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Liquidity and Funding Control in New York, New York

Coordinate the reporting and analysis of regulatory requirements across various aspects of liquidity. Develop and coordinate initiatives across Corporate Treasury, Information Technology, and Finance, which enables the team to achieve its strategic goals related to liquidity reporting. Develop and enhance new processes and reporting, as it relates to liquidity with a focus on improving data lineage across functions within the Finance organization. Partner with regulatory reporting controllers on rule interpretation questions. Assist in the build out of the operating model for liquidity reporting with a goal of end-to-end ownership. Work alongside the Global Corporate Treasury desks to ensure the accuracy of reports and to improve complex financial models. Implement new regulatory requirements imposed upon the business.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as an Analyst, Associate, Manager, or related occupation in the financial services industry. Requires four (4) years of experience with: regulatory reporting including liquidity rule interpretation and liquidity/funding risk; and production, process management, deployment, and location strategy. Requires three (3) years of experience with: regulatory liquidity reporting focusing on liquidity stress testing, and designing and implementing processes and controls; creating and analyzing management information including improving data lineage across functions within a Finance organization; analyzing large data sets, summarizing analysis, and identifying and remediating issues to stakeholders; driving forward development and implementation agendas for new regulatory requirements imposed upon the business by regulators; financial products including secured financing, derivatives, and unsecured debt; and Business Objects and AXIOM reporting tools.
