We are seeking the expertise of a Senior Project Manager, to join our Customer Obligation stream within the Group Program of Action (PoA).

Your team is responsible for strengthening the Group’s Financial Crime compliance capability through uplifting the following policies, processes and systems:

  • Customer Risk Assessment (CRA);
  • Customer Population Management;
  • Customer data uplift; and
  • Ongoing Customer Due Diligence (OCDD) and Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) enhancements

On any given day you will

You are empowered by the business sponsor of an initiative(s) to convey the vision and work with the team on a daily basis to achieve it. You are the voice of the customer and ensure stakeholder needs are met.

You will work closely with other Bank divisions and the Central Project team to understand key dependencies and overlaps in deliverables with the wider project and other divisional work and help the Customer PoA work through the optimum approach to work through these dependencies

You will work with the EM Customer PoA PMO and other Customer PoA stream leads and team members to prioritize tasks and resources, balancing capacity constraints with delivering items which have the most impact.

You will ensure that risk is always considered and that key project risk items that could impact delivery of initiatives are identified, recorded, assessed and treated in conjunction with relevant Specialists.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing large projects and programs of work to achieve the program/project’s objectives and business benefits
  • Structure project team for success incorporating required skills from within the Group and sourcing resources from delivery partner organisations
  • Communicate and report project activities, timelines, impacts and implications to project team members, stakeholders and staff
  • Develop robust and achievable project plans to manage the delivery of quality project deliverables
  • Balance schedule, cost and quality in reaching decisions relating to project delivery
  • Manage and report project expenditures and benefits realisation

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Extensive Project Management Experience with major/complex program experience
  • Experience working on large programs across multiple business units and platforms
  • Demonstrated structured problem solving methodology and analytical capability
  • Strong people leadership with experience in growing, coaching and mentoring top talent
  • Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous/unstructured environment
  • Ability to present and translate technical concepts to a senior business audience
  • Ability to develop professional relationships of influence with a wide range of clients
  • Knowledge and experience of AML/CTF regulation including KYC, OCDD, ECDD, Sanctions, Customer Risk Assessment etc
  • Knowledge of PPMC is essential
  • Strong understanding of the Group Delivery Framework (GDF) is highly desirable.
