Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) is responsible for managing the Group's relationships with major corporate and government clients and institutional investors, and provides a full range of capital raising and risk management products and services. The division also performs an important internal role for the Group by providing FICC market, equity derivatives, lending and capital markets execution capabilities to other CBA business units that allows them to capture opportunities with their customers.

The IB&M Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for IB&M’s Strategy, Business Administration & Logistics, Strategic Projects and overseeing Data & Analytics. The IB&M Fenergo and Program of Action Programs form part of the IB&M Transformation and Delivery Portfolio, within the Chief Operating Office.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
The Business Lead – Financial Crimes (FCC) and Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) Lead role is responsible for ensuring the programs, which aim to deliver business capability relevant to this role (currently Fenergo and Program of Action), deliver the required and desired business outcomes for IB&M and CBA, more broadly.
Your will:
- Partner with Product Owners and key business roles to define business requirements and scope across programs, specifically as it relates to FCC and Client Lifecycle Management capability, to ensure these are reflected in the business case and cost/benefit profile and are achievable.
- Specifically, guide product owners & all BA’s (both technical and Business) in ensuring obligations led business requirements and benefits are captured, documented and prioritised appropriately
- Be responsible for the realisation of business outcomes as specified and agreed in the business case, specifically as it relates to FCC and Client Lifecycle Management capability This will include, but not be limited to:
- Business readiness
- Risk in Change
- Change Management – leadership, communication and training
- Ensure business risks in relation to delivery of processes and controls to ensure financial crimes compliance are identified and mitigation strategies in place
- Lead, manage and/or deliver all / any artefacts required by the business (including Line 1 risk teams) to ensure that the operation of the new capability meets business expectations, meets required regulatory obligations (specifically financial crimes compliance) and is within risk appetite.
- Specifically, manage the production of the Traceability Matrix.
We’re Interested in Hearing From People Who Have:
- Strong experience in financial services
- Good project/program/portfolio management experience
- Good understanding of Institutional Banking and CLM concepts, processes and systems
- Excellent understanding and expertise in Financial Crimes , specifically as it relates to Institutional banking
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and negotiation skills and ability to build a strong rapport with colleagues
- Experience with project governance and senior stakeholder management
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Organisational skills and an ability to work and deliver against deadlines under pressure
- Strong influencing skills, particularly in dealing with senior stakeholders
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to think outside the box
