Job Description
Assist the CFO in areas of planning and managing; accounting functions, tax compliance, and other applicable rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full spectrum of group accounting functions.
  • Perform closing activities and reporting.
  • Consolidate subsidiaries results.
  • Oversee and provide guidance to accounting team from various countries in financial matters.
  • Familiar with deferred revenue concept.
  • Provide analysis to management and business units to make informed decisions aimed.
  • Preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
  • Review cash flows forecast.
  • Support annual budgets, planning & analysis of reports.
  • Responsible for corporate tax compliance and statutory matters.
  • Recommend process improvement initiatives to improve financial procedures.
  • Support and undertake ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification
e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA.
  • At least 4-5 years relevant working experience in the same capacity.
  • Proficient in Excel skills.
  • Preferred to have 1-2 years of audit experience.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Xero/ cloud software will be an added advantage.
  • Meticulous and keen eye for details; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Committed, confident personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work within tight timelines.
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

  • At least 4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): detailed, analytic, commited
  • Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
