A highly regarded, successful and well established accountancy practice, based in Truro, Cornwall, is searching for a Manager with progression on offer, as a result of combined growth and succession planning with the firm. The firm and role will be ideal for a qualified, profession based, career background experienced qualified Senior or ideally Manager, with genuine ambitions to progress in the right firm and environment towards partnership.

Client Details

The firm is based in Truro, having developed a strong reputation across Cornwall and further afield, acting for sole traders, partnerships, ltd company SMEs and OMBs, across wide ranging sectors and sizes. Largest clients are up to £30 million in turnover and the firm has a small number of clients with audit requirement. However the vast majority of services focus on the delivery of accounts, tax and associated general practice services. The firm has several directors and a significant sized team, supporting them, across varying levels and experience.

Description

Joining as Manager with Partner Progression potential, clearly on offer, as you develop within the firm and role, you will take responsibility for the management and delivery of services to your client base, primarily focused on accounts and tax. You will manage the team and develop relationships with your clients in an advisory, added value capacity. Alongside the portfolio management, you will have a clear progression path on offer to develop towards partnership, working closely with the directors to develop the firm, progress and become a key part of the firms, long term future and continuing success.

Profile

You will hold qualifications across any of ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA etc and will have developed your career, within the profession, to at least a very experienced and capable, qualified Senior, or Manager level. You may have a background in small, medium, large independent, accounting firms, with accounts, tax and associated technical skills. Or, you may have an audit background in larger tier firm environment, looking to join a smaller firm, advising and building relationships with owners of smaller OMBs and SMEs, developing a more all round, general practitioner career. Most importantly, you will have the career ambitions to progress towards partnership.

Job Offer

£30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience and background.
