Great 3 month contract for a self starting, Senior Management Accountant reporting directly into the Finance Director.
Client Details
Based in Liverpool, the client has recently acquired some high profile contracts and are on the cusp of some aggresive growth. They are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their team for 3 months. This is a great chance to play a part within a manufacturing business that is a pioneer within their field. The finance function is made up of a close knit team with an attractive culture who will be greatul for a helping hand as they come up to year end. An SME, already well established within their industry but on the precipice of substansial growth.
Description
This will be an interesting role for the right candidate, main responsibilities will be:
- Finance Business Partnering with various financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Lead on Month end procedures.
- Cost analysis
- Variance analysis
- Key role in budgeting & forecasting
- Reporting; Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash flow preparation.
- Managing accruals, prepayments and provisions.
- Balance sheet reconciliations as well as Fixed Assets management.
- Provide relevant and timely information to the Finance Director and Board.
- Assisting with company secretarial, statutory and stock exchange requirements.
- Project tracking and reporting.
- Ad-hoc project work including systems.
Profile
.You will need to be a self-starting qualified accountant, capable of hitting the ground running.
. Experience with SAP/ SAP Business 1 is also highly desirable for this position.
.You will need to be accurate and organised and capable of working independently and will act as the Finance Directors number 2.
