Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the efficient daily operations of the Accounting Department
2. Ensure timely provision of Monthly Management Accounts
3. Supervising the Annual Audit and Assurance Exercise
4. Ensure at all times the Company is Statutory Compliant
5. Supervising and Approving Analysis and Reconciliation Schedules
6. Reviewing and Approving Payment Vouchers and Journals
7. Developing and maintaining internal controls and effective accounting systems and policies and ensuring strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures
8. Performing cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange purchase, budgeting and working closely with the Operations Teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.
9. Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives
10. Continuous training and development of the Accounting Team to meet the demands future and current of the department.
11. Establishing and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns
12. To always act in the best interest of the Company and to safeguard the property and other assets of the Company Required Experience & Qualifications
1. Charter Accountant Designation, Post Graduate Degree Accounting/Finance or at minimum ACCA Level 3 Qualification
2. At least Five Years' working experience in at a management/supervisory level
3. Relevant working experience in auditing and costing in a manufacturing environment is an asset
4. Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels
5. Able to work independently and highly meticulous
6. Working experience with ERP systems
7. Advance proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
