You will be a key player in the Commercial Finance team within a highly-acquisitive and private equity backed business. Your role is commercial in nature and will naturally progress into a business partnering focused position.
Client Details
Michael Page are currently supporting this rapidly growing business across a number of divisions. They are backed by a conglomerate American business although they are left to operate on their own accord. The business have grown to be a true market leader in their field and are now one of the most attractive employers in the region.
Due to such significant growth, they have grown their finance team into a number of divisions and this role will be sitting within their commercial arm.
Description
You will be involved in looking after month-end proceedings of acquired businesses across multiple regions. There will be a strong amount of exposure to the P&L and you will be tasked with providing consistent reviews with stakeholders.
Pay close attention to detail in the creation of monthly management accounting packs and be competent in your presentation to senior management.
Close partnering with senior non-finance stakeholders to accurately forecast business performance. You will need to be clear in your communication of any potential risks/variances.
Support your team in both improving and implementing processes, whilst contributing to the year-end external audit process.
Profile
You must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and will be able to converse with a wide variety of both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
The role will natural progress into a Finance Business Partner, so it is important that this progression is within your motivators.
Job Offer
£40,000 - £45,000 salary.
