My client is a leader in their field, spanning across multiple sites around the country. They are focusing on providing new impactful services to the people of Northamptonshire and partnering with market leaders in the USA.
Description
The responsibilities of the Management Accountant will be:
- Co-ordinating workloads to ensure deadlines are met ensuring that systems are in place to compile all the relevant notes to the organisations year end accounts and that high-quality working papers are available for Audit.
- Producing an annual timetable and distributing and/or writing instructions and procedures to all stakeholders (within / out with the Finance Dept)
- Reconciling control accounts ensuring that balance's shown in the organisations financial ledgers are investigated and actioned.
- Establishment of monitoring reports to ensure that all expenditure, assets, liabilities and provisions are appropriately accounted for in accordance with IFRS.
- Manage working capital balances and report any action required (such as facilitating temporary borrowing PDC or pursuing outstanding cash receipts) to maintain the organisations liquidity, whilst ensuring that neither commercial account nor GBS account cash holdings breach the Treasury Management Policy.
Profile
The successful Management Accountant will have:
- A professional qualification of ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
- A meticulous nature when performing a technical role.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and have a high-level of autonomy.
- A naturally inquisitive and questioning personality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to have several projects moving along at one time.
