Michael Page are working with a regional leading, proactive and highly regarded Devon based firm of chartered accountants, looking to recruit a General Practice Partner Designate / Partner to join their Honiton team and successful office in a role offering genuine progression towards equity partnership on a clear and negotiable timescale.

The partners are looking for the right individual who can develop this office, team and lead the development of this office as a key, higher level addition.

Description

Joining at General Practice Partner Designate / Partner levels dependent on the background, motivations and fit of the right professional, you will have the expected responsibilities of taking on a significant client portfolio covering a wide range of business sectors, including manufacturing, corporate, agriculture, tourism and leisure etc, delivering accounting and taxation services and providing business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets. Alongside this, a key part of your role will involve actively becoming a part of the local business community, networking, developing relationships and looking to further the growth and development of the firms client base. You will fully lead and overssee the development of this office, team and its future growth and success. The opportunity therefore provides a genuine chance to develop into equity partnership with the associated skills required and you will be expected to demonstrate the ability to step up into this level of role within a negotiable and realistic timescale, dependent on your motivations, experience and discussions.

Profile

You will be any of ACA, ACCA, CTA qualified with a strong career background in general accountancy practice as an all around accounts/tax etc professional. You will be at least at highly experienced Senior Manager levels, or at salaried Associate, Director, or Partner levels. You will have skills managing a portfolio of mixed clients of growing, profitable limited companies and OMBs up to or over the audit threshold, with and emphasis on accounts, tax and advisory work. You will be looking to lead and develop a successful, well established office and play a key role in its future, long term development and growth

You may be working with a South West accountancy firm across any of small, medium/large size/top 50/Mid or Top Tier firm size, or looking to relocate to the South West in a long term lifestyle and career move seeking a challenging opportunity in the profession.

Job Offer

£50,000 - £80,000 plus - dependent on experience, background and level, negotiable, plus benefits
