A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a market leading construction company for a finance based graduate role. The role Will be based primarily around financial planning and analysis of key data for the purposes of progressing the company in their short and medium term goals. The role will ultimately develop into an Assistant Management Accountant role.

Client Details

My client are a highly established market leader with a dynamic and growing finance department that offers proven routes for progression. They are currently looking for a graduate who has preferably garnered a year or more experience in a professional environment. This role will be primarily focused towards enhancing the right candidates skills in financial analysis and planning.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue weekly sales report
  • Assist the FP&A team in coordinating the groups budget, forecasting and strategic planning processes.
  • prepare the weekly divisional reporting for review by the company Financial Director.
  • Assist in preparation of CST overheads and forecasts
  • Work closely with the CST teams to provide financial support as required
  • Work with the finance team on the ongoing Anaplan project including optimising the system.
  • Prepare and issue daily customer satisfaction e-mails.
  • Ad hoc projects as required.
  • Ensure all relevant stake holders are kept up to date with key departmental developments.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a graduate degree (essential) in a finance based subject (preferable)
  • Be an ACCA/CIMA studier, or have intentions to begin studying
  • Have a vibrant personality, and the confidence to present and interact with senior staff (business partners, department heads, Financial Director etc.)
  • Excellent analytic skills and organisation.
  • intermediate to advance MS office skills (development of these skills will be provided along with training on the company's COINS system)
  • Able to work autonomously with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to perform accurately and professionally under pressure in a high paced environment.
  • Good communication skills
  • Be a self-starter with the ambition to develop and grow within the company.
  • Willing to put in additional work to meet deadlines.
