They are looking for a Credit Controller (Medical) to join their accountancy team during an exciting period of growth and get involved with new processes and systems as they adapt to their ever expanding size.

Description

• Credit control and debt reduction for insurance, NHS, patient and other contract accounts
• Cash allocation
• Take card payments over the phone. (Allocate and email or post Receipt daily
• Running Aged Debt report for Insurance companies
• Reconcile accounts
• Provide copy Invoices when requested
• Patient ID Report
• PO Report for all NHS
• Allocate all remittances received- Post, email, health code, Providers online
• Chase missing remittances
• Credit and recharge for incorrectly charged invoices
• Create, print and dispatch shortfall invoices
• Biweekly mail merge
• Liaise with booking/ client support to ensure the correct info is received for billing purposes
• Run end of day report and match to Bank statement the next day
• Chase all outstanding monies
• Dealing with patient queries and taking payments

Profile

• At least 3 years accountancy experience
• Good Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Bright, ambitious, adaptable
• Confident dealing with a mixture of B2B and B2C chasing
• Team player attitude
• An appetite for change, adaptable and willing to help change processes to make things right
• Determined, target driven, takes pride in their work
• Health-care experience beneficial
• Prior wider finance experience also desirable
• Able to work in London
