As a key member of the executive management team, the CFO will have a dual reporting structure into the Global CFO and BGC Executive Leadership team including Global COO, the President of BGC Partners, and the Board of Directors. In this role, the CFO will advise and collaborate with the Global CFO, the President and the leadership team in providing critical insights into the Firm's strategy. The CFO will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management for BGC. In working closely with the executive management team, the CFOs will assess the Company's operational and financial performance and develop scalable systems, processes, and controls to support the business operations and growth of BGC. The CFO will provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting areas. The CFO will have direct oversight for Financing & Accounting, Corporate Compliance and Controls, Treasury and Tax.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 8-10 years' experience as a CFO for a company in the financial services industry with public company experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and practices, including GAAP reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley
• Able to work effectively with investors, B.O.D. members, bankers, and other financial intermediaries
• Has acted as a senior leader for a firm that has experienced sustained and rapid growth, and has built the required infrastructure to support the scale of the business
• Hands on approach coupled with a superior strategic capability and leadership
• Public accounting audit experience preferred
• Must possess a strong cash management skill set
• Financial management expertise; includes strategic planning, business modeling, expense control, budgeting, forecasting and business planning
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required, CPA required
• Ability to travel internationally once a month required
