Work You'll Do

We recognize that you have unique skills, experiences, and interests, so we divide the broad scope of the Summer Associate role into skills-based segments in order to best align each Summer Associate with a focus area. The profiles function as sub-groups that our Summer Associates leverage to network and enhance their professional development. Setting our people up for success is our highest priority.

A Human Capital Strategy Summer Associate identifies efficiencies to enhance organizational performance through innovative talent, leadership and change programs. This Summer Associate also designs & develops integrated HR & talent management strategies, helping clients adapt to disruption through core service delivery optimization & digital enablement. This Summer Associate should have excellent communication skills, demonstrable problem solving skills, and the ability to learn and apply business-related concepts.

The Team
Our practitioners will be able to maintain the specialization they have built to date in certain areas while also learning how it connects to broader issues in the market. We are committed to continuously supporting our practitioners as they build skills in either one specific part of our business or across the business - our Portfolio is structured to facilitate this learning. Our people will have the ability to capitalize on some of the biggest trends happening today and support organizations working to leverage their greatest asset: their people. We will continue to help our people deliver world-class services, innovate on new solutions and products, and prepare them to address our clients' most difficult challenges in the market.

Required Qualifications
•MBA or Master's degree (completed or with expected graduation between December 2020 and August 2021)
•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
•Strong academic standing
•Ability to participate full-time for a 10 week internship (June to August 2020)
•Ability to travel 80-100%
•Experience applying research and demonstrating analytical thinking

Your tailored training program will start on day 1 and be supplementedwith learning opportunities throughout the summer, whether on the job, virtual,or in the office on Fridays. The summer will also feature networkingopportunities with firm leadership and interns across the organization duringthe national summer intern conference at Deloitte University.
