Accounts Payable Team Leader
Sanderson are currently working with a FTSE 100 company, based in the Central Belt, to recruit an Accounts Payable Team Leader. Due to a recent restructure they are looking for an individual to join the business on a 3 month initial contract, with responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the Accounts Payable function.

Due to a recent restructure they are looking for an individual to join the business on a 3 month initial contract, with responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the Accounts Payable function.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Team Leader:
- Support the Accounts Payable Senior Advisors in day to day delivery of the accounts payable operation in line with service level agreements and corporate governance..
- Support the Assistant Group AP Manager (Assurance) to enforce control and governance
- Support the Group Accounts Payable Manager in building, monitoring and developing KPI metrics that demonstrate continuous improvements
- Build / improve working relationship with key stakeholders in the AP Process
Experience, Skills and Knowledge of the Accounts Payable Team Leader:
- Exceptional AP skills and knowledge, with experience managing a team
- Accounts Payable best practice
- Understanding the end to end Procure to Pay cycle
- Knowledge of General Ledger impact by AP sub ledger
- Highly Numerate
- Good organisational skills a must as dealing with a large diverse team
- Good understanding of control and governance and ability to enforce strict control and governance across the team.
