Page Personnel are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for an international, rapidly expanding, manufacturing organisation with key finance offices based in Halifax.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be reporting in to a qualified Management Accountant, as part of a wider finance team, responsible for assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack.
Duties will include, however are not limited to, posting accruals and prepayments, overhead analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing of general ledger codes, cost centre and variance analysis and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a private equity backed business in an assistant accountant role, ideal for an AAT/CIMA/ACCA studier, looking to progress.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have worked as an accounts assistant/assistant accountant previously
- Be studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA
- Have strong Excel skills
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
Job Offer
£22,000 - £24,000 + full AAT/ACCA/CIMA study support + free on site parking + 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + generous contributory pension scheme + staff rewards scheme
