I am working alongside a fantastic local Accountancy Practice recruiting for Corporate Tax staff to join their team as part of significant growth over the last few years. Client Details

The client I am partnering with are a fast growing Large chartered accountancy firm. They have grown organically over the last two years and are hoping to increase headcount over the coming months within their corporate tax team. The Kent offices are a key contributor to the overall performance of the business.

The Managing Partner has created a culture in which all of the team feel involved and are driving towards the same goals. They have regular office meetings with the whole team in which they celebrate success and promote a Strong work life balance!

Description

Joining the corporate tax team based in the firms Kent offices, you will carve a role and career within this leading firms tax department, undertaking a mixed role across both compliance and planning, with a focus on involvement in planning and advisory projects. You will manage a wider team, providing key support and play a role in developing and growing the firms corporate tax offering, with a route to develop and progress in your career. Project work for clients will cover the following examples, acting for a wide spectrum of clients, varied in industries, turnovers and complexity and you will build valued, trusted relationships with your clients...

Review of corporation tax and complex partnership tax computations, profit extraction, employee remuneration packages, share schemes, all aspects of group relief planning, claims and elections, purchase of own shares, reorganisations for succession and business disposals, EIS investments, R&D, Capital allowances, transactional tax planning, to include due diligence work etc, professional and family partnership tax planning, entrepreneur's relief claims, other capital gains tax reliefs for business owners and dealing with HMRC aspect and full enquiries.

The above gives a wide range of examples and the roles, client base and areas of planning work will be mouldable around the right persons areas of strength and technical interest, with the potential for involvement in new areas and the support to develop your technical planning skills further. You will come into the team and business at a key stage in this firms growth and development, with excellent prospects for career progression and ongoing development on offer. You will be able to carve an influential role within this firms leading tax department and progress in your career.

Profile

ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification essential.
Significant Corporate Tax and accounting experience on a range of advisory and compliance projects.
A passion for client service.
A track record of developing new work.
