My client is currently seeking an Financial Accountant with 5 years experience to join there team. This private school is centrally located, with great working conditions and environment. This school has an outstanding reputation which is driven by staff who truly care about making a difference in the education of the students.

The Financial Accountant will provide direct suppot to the Finance Manager and plays an important role in the smooth operation of the school.

About the role:

  • Assist the Finance Manager with month end financial reporting
  • Preperation of monthly reconciliations for balcance sheet, p&l accounts and payroll system
  • Monthly assest audit
  • Update and monitor various financial spreadsheets
  • Provision of statistical information to external agencies
  • Assist in preparation acquittals, management of expenditure requests and approvals
  • Liase with stakeholders - internal and external
  • Assist with AP/AR and customer service when required
  • Assist with board reports
  • Assist with other duties as directed by the Headmaster, Director of Business Services and Finance Manager

About you :

  • 5 years technical accountant experience
  • Calm and collected
  • Ability to work as a part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills

On offer is a salary of $90-100k+super. This room has plenty of opportunties for growth and will work very closely with the Finance Manager.
