Temporary to Permanent Management Accountant opportunity for a Part Qualified candidate to join a established and growing organisation based in Coventry.

Description
The Management Accountant role will involve:
- Production of financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries for specific allocated parts of the business
Creation and posting of regular journals, including accruals and prepayments with full back up
- Offer business partnering support to Operations function, providing insight into financial information
Detailed review of accounts to spot variances and correct where necessary
Meeting of deadlines for reporting both internally and externally
Assist in the production of the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process
Assist in the production of key data for the Group finance team
Monitor business spend against budget and forecast in particular with regards to vehicle maintenance costs.
Document processes with a view to reviewing and improving where required
Work closely with relevant teams to support the financial control and administration of processes
Support shared service accounts team with accounts payable queries and sales ledger / credit control queries.
Provide support to the Financial Controller and Finance Director with adhoc projects and analysis
Profile
The successful candidate will ideally be part qualified studying CIMA, commercial and keen to obtain further exposure within business partnering. You will be confident with all aspects of Management Accounting, be skilled in the use of Excel (look ups/pivots/if statements) to manipulate and analyse large data sets and be a confident communicator with all stakeholders.
