We Offer

A chance for you to join our diverse environment as a Senior team member in our Financial Accounting & Regulatory Reporting department within Major international private bank in Luxembourg with several European branches

• You will be taking care of the financial and regulatory reporting (incl. Basel 3 solvency and liquidity reporting) and review of European branches;
• You will be in charge of the analytical review of and executive summary on periodic financial reports and for Regulatory Reporting Governance Committees;
• You will run key controls, reconciliations and adequate documentation;
• You will handle GAAP reconciliations between US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP;
• Actively seek opportunities for operational improvements through implementation of new systems, elimination of non-value added work and streamlining of functional procedures;
• Maintain and be responsible for the integrity of financial records, including keeping up to date compliance with accounting, VAT and regulatory requirements;
• Gain understanding of business divisions and models to collect financial accounting and regulatory reporting implications;
• Managing the implementation of new business projects towards accounting and regulatory reporting compliance;
• Liaising with Group Financial Accounting team for the preparation of Group reporting and use of the Group IT platform will allow you to craft a network with positive working relationships;
• Cooperating with foreign branches and other departments and stakeholders of the Group;
• Management of relationship with auditors;
• Mentorship, development and feedback for junior team members;

You Offer

• Have you got 3-7 years accounting, financial or auditing experience (Senior) or 0-3 years of experience (Junior)?
• Have you graduated from university specialising in Accounting, Controlling, Finance or Business (for junior)?
• experience in banking financial and regulatory reporting, including Basel 3 deliverables;
• Exposure to regulatory reporting IT tools (FRS, Finarch or Abacus);
• IFRS and/or US GAAP exposure;
• Do you possess strong technical and analytical skills combined with solid organization, project and planning skills?
• Focused on quality and timely delivery;
• Continuous improvement mindset;
• Are you solution and change oriented with the ability to work in a matrix structure?
• Strong team and social skills;
• International outlook and experience;
• English & German fluency is required;
