The Wealth Risk Aligned Advice team provides the Aligned Advice business and the Transformation office with the framework, tools and training to enable them to effectively manage their risks and compliance obligations.

The team act as a Trusted Advisor to the Business and also perform all Line 2 functions in accordance with CBA group requirements.

Do work that matters

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, Aligned Advice, you will work closely with the business and support the development and maintenance of a robust risk management framework through optimal risk/reward decisions and assurance.

On any given day you will:

• Support the Chief Risk Officer with developing a strong risk capability by providing strategic input and operational oversight;
• Provide support to the Aligned Advice Transformation Office including but not limited to, risk profiling, risk in change, issues and incidents;
• Build strategic relationships across Aligned Advice and the Transformation Office, providing insights and proactive advice on new and existing regulatory obligations;
• Advise on a range of strategic projects, including high profile remediation programs to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and focusing on managing operational and compliance risks associated with these programs;
• Design and execute assurance programs aimed at the early identification of risks and remedial actions;
• Prepare, attend and/or present to Board /Management and/or Senior stakeholders;
• Lead your team to deliver a range of risk management activities in a dynamic environment.

We’re interested in hearing from people who possess:

• Extensive experience in Risk Management, specifically within Wealth Management;
• Demonstrated capability in leading a team and driving results to achieve excellence;
• A commercial mind, able to balance risk management and business goals;
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Accounting, Auditing or related discipline.
