We offer you a challenging Madrid based position within the Internal Control and Risk Department at Credit Suisse Gestión SGIIC, S.A., within International Wealth Management (IWM) division. Credit Suisse Gestión SGIIC, S.A. is a Spanish Asset Management, which handles Collective Investment Schemes (Funds and SICAVs) and clients’ mandates, and deals with a broad range of assets such as equities, fixed income, funds and derivatives, in which:
- You will be working within a highly experienced team, with responsibilities on risk management (market, liquidity, credit, among others), investment guidelines monitoring and other asset management related control functions
- You have a rare opportunity to develop your personal and professional skillset even further and to get broad experience on Asset Management risk and control functions and financial markets knowledge
You will work on day-to-day Department tasks, including:
- Legal ratios and investment guidelines controls
- Legal assessment of eligibility of securities. Performance of due diligence of securities when required
- Market, credit & liquidity risk for portfolios managed by CS Gestión
- Security valuation checks
- Operational risk controls and assessments
- Involvement in regulatory, external and internal audit reviews
- Involvement in communications with regulators
- Involvement in drafting Circular 6/2009 reports to Board of Directors
You Offer
- Master in Economic Sciences or Banking & Finance, CFA or FRM qualification would be an asset
- You look forward to working within a team and have the ability to build relationships across the organization, work independently, build trust and collaborate efficiently
- Strong Windows, Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- MS Access, Matlab, Reuters and Bloomberg would also be helpful
- You know capital markets and you are passionate about it
- You are fluent in Spanish and English
- You are a problem solver with a positive personality and can-do attitude
