An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and progressive candidate to join a growing Travel and Tourism business with a global reach. Working from the Newmarket site the Management Accountant will be assisting the Financial Controller across month end duties as well as supporting the budget and forecasting processes.

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Prepare month/year end close entries including accruals, prepayments and revaluations
  • Production month end management accounts
  • Supporting the budgeting and rolling forecasting processes
  • Assist the Financial Controller with balancing the monthly financial statements
  • Ensuring the fixed asset registers is kept up to date
  • Reconcile all inter-company balances each month
  • Assisting with the external and internal audit processes
  • Support with the continual improvement of internal processes and systems
  • Assist with budget and forecast preparation as required by the business partners

    • Profile

    The successful candidate for the Management Accountant will be:

    • ACCA or CIMA Part-Qualified and actively looking to complete their studies
    • Strong Excel ability; V Look-ups, Pivot Tables and Sumifs
    • Proven track record of supporting numerous internal stakeholders
    • Detailed oriented and enthusiastic individual
    • Broad systems knowledge
