Finance Manager - Retail Banking Products

As a Finance Manager within Retail Banking Services (RBS) Product Finance, you will strategically partner with the Everyday Banking business, acting as an Advisor to influence the business to make the most optimal financial, operational, and strategic decisions. In this role, you will:

• Prepare modelling/analysis relating to product pricing impacts, campaign initiatives and the overall product portfolio, including insights on business drivers, market dynamics and the competitive landscape where relevant.
• Provide ad hoc analysis required by stakeholders (e.g. CFO, GM Finance, EGM product, GM product) including deep commercial insights for the profit announcement/ analyst briefings.
• Assist in providing financial input on business assumptions for investment initiatives, product launches and major business decisions ensuring financial rigour is consistently applied.
• Actively contribute to process improvement, simplification and cross skilling across the RBS Retail Product team.
• Preparation and input into the monthly performance reporting for designated product portfolio/s, including financial control deliverables and continual improvement of reports.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• Full CA/CPA/ACCA status.
• Experience in or an understanding of the push / pull factors of the banking industry, ideally gained in a commercial or professional practice environment.
• An innate ability to look beyond the numbers, make sense of data and provide key insights to your stakeholders.
• Financial modelling skills.
