Group Accountant

An innovative and fast growth business new Newport are seeking a Group Accountant.

Role

To oversee and review the work of a transaction team, before consolidating the accounts for the group on a monthly basis.

• Review and submit the VAT returns.
• Assisting the auditors on the statutory audit.
• Work with group finance team to produce the monthly consolidation of financial and management accounts.
• To produce monthly Information, Board Reports and other financial information as required for the business.
• Deliver accurate financial information to the business in a methodical and timely manner.
• Assist with preparation of Group statutory accounts and each subsidiary statutory accounts including involvement in annual audit including management of and reporting to the Audit Committee on progress on audit points

Profile

Could suit an ACA first time move from practice or a technical accountant from industry

Salary & Benefits

£42,000 to £50,000 plus benefits

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
