The Company
My client is a manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Castleford. My client is looking for a Financial Controller to join the team and take control of the finance team. The business is in a position to continue their recent growth in to 2020.
The Role
This role will see the post holder contribute to the production of the management accounts for the business on a monthly basis. This role will also involve the successful candidate producing MI analysis to present to the board of directors. This will include but not be limited to margins, costs, cost centre breakdowns, productivity, overheads as well as eventually becoming involved with tender support for future business. The successful candidate will also have to work closely with the financial accounting team helping with VAT, TAX and stat reporting when required
In order to be considered for this role you must:
- Be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
- Have proven experience of producing the monthly management accounts and financial accounting
- Have a strong commercial awareness and an interest to develop this further
- Have good IT skills including Excel
- Be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate financial information to non finance management
