The client, based in South West London (Victoria), are one of the world's leading logistics distribution and supply chain businesses. They are looking for someone to join their Financial Planning and Analysis team, as an FP&A Analyst. The role will be reporting into the FP&A Manager, and will consist of a lot of reporting, budgeting and analysis. The role will also involve the implementation of new systems and the streamlining of various processes
Client Details
The client is a leading international shipping business, that specialise in the shipping of raw materials around the world. They have one of the world's biggest fleets, and they are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their Financial Planning and Analysis team on a permanent basis. They are looking for a candidate with 2-3 years experience doing financial modelling, forecasting, dash boarding and has a strong accounting knowledge.
Description
The successful FP&A Analyst will be doing:
- Financial Modelling
- Commercial and operational analysis
- Monthly and Quarterly Forecasting and budgeting
- Cash flow
- Liaising with many different areas of the business
- Inputting of new software and implementation of new systems
- KPI reporting
- Ad Hoc analysis
Profile
The successful FP&A Analyst will:
- Have 2-3 years of experience in an analytically role
- MUST have experience doing forecasting, dash boarding, modelling and production of information packs
- A working knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a working knowledge of the Accounts function (Experience doing accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis etc)
- Good Excel skills (Macros, Summifs, Pivot Tables Vlookups etc)
