Leading, British Engineering business situated in Cheltenham, seeking part qualified Management Accountant to be apart of their growing, dynamic Finance department. This role requires you to be in charge of a.ll budgeting, forecasting and production of the Management Accounts. Lease with senior stake holders and have continue support to finish your ACCA/CIMA qualification. £30,000 - £35,000

Description

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Responsible for producing Monthly Management accounts

• Producing explanations of the main variances from budget

• Responsible for the various finance controls in the management accounts

• Control of cashflow forecasts

• Preparation of forecasts and monthly reports, leasing with senior stake holders

• Will be involved with implementing new process when required

• Responsible for controlling some commercial elements of product costings including;

• Full end to end product costings to ensure the appropriate margins/profitability is achieved taking in to account design costs and allowance for waste.

• Monitoring and managing product & category profitability and recommending courses of action.

• Creating executive reports and recommendations for corrective action

• Business Intelligence analytical work

Profile

The successful candidate:

• Bi analytical skills

• Part or Fully qualified Accountant

• Mathematically competent

• Strong verbal & written skills

• Ability to work on own initiative and to set deadlines

• Ability to act quickly and think laterally at different solutions to challenges

• Great communication skills and confidence to speak to people at all levels.

• Attention to detail
