Accounts Payable Assistant - 3 month temporary role - Hammersmith

Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a temporary AP Assistant. You will be working for a global retail company and will liaise with other areas of the business such as the buying and stocks teams.

The position is based in Central Hammersmith.

Proven track record of working as an Accounts Payable assistant is important, however the selection process will focus primarily on the candidate's work-ethic and immediate availability to work.

• You will ensure prompt payment of stock invoices
• Process 30 invoices per day accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Preparation of payment runs
• Help improve Accounts Payable processes using innovative solutions
• This is a busy role which will require someone who has strong attention to detail and who is able to build good relationships suppliers and colleagues across the business.

Profile

• Knowledge of Excel & SAP software would be an advantage
• Previously working with stock
• You are highly organised and have excellent communication skills
• Fast and accurate keyboard skills

Salary & Benefits

£13 - £15 per hour
