Description
Deliver the monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.
Management of the Assistant Management Accountant, Admin Manager and team.
Understand and analyse the management accounts and discuss/challenge budget holders on cost variances to budget.
Weekly reporting to strict deadlines.
Assist with year end and half year end reporting and audit work.
Preparation and set up of internal reports and analysis.
Assist with the preparation annual forecasts and Budgeting.
Complete quarterly VAT returns
Significant amount of ad hoc tasks and process improvements
Review payroll monthly.
Cover financial reporting manager's duties.
Profile
Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Strong academic background (2.1 degree)
Advanced Excel skills, ideally with financial modelling experience
Commercial outlook
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Comfortable working to tight/short deadlines
Able to plan and prioritise own work
Work on own initiative with minimal supervision
