Robert Half Financial Services are recruiting for an Associate Fund Controller to work for a leading private equity firm based in Londons West End.

This firm are truly leaders in their respective industry boasting several European offices managing and advising in excess of $10bn capital.

The Role

The Fund Controller is responsible for several Funds and is the primary point of contact, preparing all deliverables for review by the Fund Controller and Finance Officer. Some key deliverables include:

  • Fund Accounting and Reporting - preparation of quarterly and annual reporting to Limited Partners e.g. Financial statements and Partner statements;
  • Fund Operations - preparation of Drawdown / Distribution calculations and notices and monitoring cash & liquidity;
  • Limited Partner Requests - monitoring and preparation of audit; regular and adhoc requests.
  • Training - developing an understanding of the Fund structure, software and processes.

Your Profile

To be considered for this role you should meet the following criteria:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
  • Strong academic background including a minimum of a 2:1 degree from a reputable university
  • Prior experience in private equity or asset management
  • Experience in preparation of audited financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS
  • A track record of improving processes and adding value to clients/stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, organisation and documentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Remuneration

The successful Associate Fund Controller working for a leading private equity firm based in London's West End will be offered:

  • £55-70,000 (DOE)
  • 10% pension contribution
