Senior Management Accountant

Have you reached the finalist level of your accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA)? Are you looking to qualify in a forward thinking, corporate, property company? My client is looking for a driven, self-starting Senior Management Accountant to join part of their central London based finance team with the attitude to come in to the company and challenge the status-quo.

Key responsibilities include -

• Solely responsible for monthly management accounts with focus on:
• Payroll costs & headcount reporting
• Festival costs reporting
• Capex
• French subsidiary reporting
• Cash-flow reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Revenue reporting analysis
• Preparation of audit files
• Ad hoc tasks and projects
• Ownership of financial business cycle: monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, excellent business-focused management accounting, budget submissions, payroll, tax returns and preparation of the statutory accounts. Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information to stakeholders
• Business partnering with Commercial Lead to help improve reporting and improve incentive schemes
• Business partnering with other budget holders to assist with cost management, forecasting and annual budget
• Driving improvement and efficiency's in financial processes to improve accuracy and reduce time to prepare

The ideal candidate will be degree educated (2:1) and be at the finalist level of their accounting qualification or at most newly qualified (ACCA/CIMA). You will have at least 18 months experience preparing management accounts. You will have experience working within a fast paced business environment and have experience of working to tight deadlines.

Location - The City Of London

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 (+ Study Support and Bonus)
