Temporary Financial Accountant

Due to an internal promotion, my client is looking to recruit a Temporary Financial Accountant initially on a 6 month contract with potential for extension.

My client is a large organisation based near Cardiff.

Description

Our client is recruiting an experienced, qualified Financial Accountant to work in their busy finance team.

managing a small team, the Financial Accountant plays a key role in the organisation.

Duties will include;

managing the cashflow of the organisation.

Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly accounts.

Provide advice and guidance on accounting standards.

Produce the monthly VAT return and provide advice on VAT related matters.

Ensuring all income is invoiced and collected to agreed targets.

Managing all Bank related activities.

Profile

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and hold either ACA, ACCA CIMA or CIPFA qualifications

You will have excellent Financial Accounting skills.

You will have excellent VAT, Cashflow and Bank skills.

You will operate at a high level on excel.

Job Offer

An inital 6 month temporary assignment.

There is potential that this role will be extended or can go perm.

Salary c£18 - £25 per hour
