To produce monthly financial results and management information packs in a timely and accurate manner including full reconciliation of the underlying accounts.

Client Details

A European manufacturing business with Operations across UK and Italy.

Description

  • Support in the production of the monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and management accounts schedules for group of companies.
  • Responsible for reconciling ledgers to ensure accuracy of accounts for all companies.
  • Responsibility of overseeing the sales ledger & purchase ledgers of the group
  • Liaison and assistance with company accountants for each year-end audit at both companies
  • Quarterly Tax Reconciliations for HMRC and supervision of VAT reporting as required
  • Assistance in Cash Flow monitoring
  • Fixed Asset monitoring & reconciliation
  • Production & submission of Government statistics

Profile

  • 3+ years accounting experience.
  • Good IT Skills - MS Office/Focus/Sage Payroll/Jobshop(Javelin) MRP
  • Good communication skills particularly when discussing finance relates tropics with non-finance stakeholders etc
  • Good understanding of current accounting standards
  • Sage Payroll experience
