Project Accountant

The Project Accountant will be one of 5 management accountants solely responsible for providing support on three major projects across the business. Due to a new client won, our client are searching for a project accountant to take pressure off the rest of the team.

Client Details

Our client is a listed organisation based in Marlow, specialising in engineering and manufacturing for a number of different sectors. The business has just gone through a period of high sales and is now looking to expand their finance team. They take pride in providing outstanding development and progression prospects in this fast-moving environment, and overall this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to come in as a project accountant.

Description

You will work on three major projects and prepare and analyse project spend, budgeting, forecasting and evaluation of WIP calculations and completion levels. You will provide detail analysis on operational support on the project and be the solely responsible for the financial duties for the whole projects.

Profile

The successful candidate will have experience working in a project accounting role and ideally will be experience within a manufacturing/engineering company, however, this is not essential.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent and have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication with senior stakeholders, internally and externally.
