Working closely with the Leadership team for the Risk Management Group, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering a program of internal communications that supports the articulation of the Risk Management Group strategy, drives employee and stakeholder engagement and promotes a shared understanding of business initiatives, projects and value proposition.
You will lead the direction of the internal communication program and explore new and innovative ways to support the delivery of effective communication across our different audiences. You will manage one direct report in Sydney and partner closely with team members in the regions and colleagues in HR and L&D. Your success will be measured on your ability to build rapport with stakeholders, your understanding of what makes a compelling story, and your ability to engage staff around a clear vision amidst a high volume of programs and initiatives rolling out across the group.
You will be forward thinking and curious, always looking for ways to improve the service provided and how to add more value to the business.
Being tertiary qualified you will have strong experience in a communications or engagement role, a proven track record of leading a team and managing others, and a demonstrated ability to educate and engage people around the strategic value of communications.
Risk Management Group is an independent, centralised unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed. Its divisions include Credit, Prudential, Capital and Markets, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance, Quantitative Applications, Behavioural Risk, Financial Crime Risk and Internal Audit.
